Done Deal

Francisco Mendoza is gone. Property of Guadalajara. Just got it confirmed.

I will have more later when I get home in front of a PC.

He wont be missed by this fella, but that doesn't mean I don't wish him the best of luck.

He does carry the CUSA name afterall.

Technically he was always property of Chivas Guadalajara. He was out here on a year by year loan.Thats why the league not major role in his departure.

I wish him all the luck in the world. He'll flourish now that the emphasis is on technicality, like he said.

I told him at the CUSA season tickets holder party that he's always going to be a part of our history. He was very gracious and humble.

Well, I'll miss him. At least he had speed and youth going for him. Wicky and Victorine might be solid professionals but they're far older and they still have to recover from serious injuries.

Of course, Flores could make all this irrelevant but he has never faced serious pro competition over the long term. Is he really ready?

Good. I think every Chivas USA fan was getting pretty impatient with Medoza's play. Good luck to him though.

Now all we need is for DEJAIR to stay!

Joseph,

Victorine and Flores played far less minutes than Panchito and found the back of the Net this past season. No one can deny that Panchito worked hard out on the pitch, but working hard and producing are two different things. I do wish him luck though!!!

The problem with Panchito is that he is not an offesive midfielder. He lacks the skill to finsh and set up things. As a defender he is solid and an asset to any team in MLS and Mexico.Panchito was simply a case of a player expected to be somthing he couldnt ,thus his true virtue on the pitch was ignnored.

Somthing you cant deny is that even when he was having a bad match this kid never put h8is hands down .

I just heard Chivas Guadalajara just signed all-time Mexican national team scorer Jared Borgetti.I have a feeling he will probably end up playing in Carson by July
