Americans in Mexico weekend outlook

Perhaps the most interesting aspect of this week's slate of games involving our boys is that players will go against each other twice as the league enters its penultimate week of the Apertura 2008 season.

Jose Francisco Torres and Daniel Hernandez:
Pachuca visits Jaguares in a must-win for Pachuca. Not only do los Tuzos need the points but they've got a beatable opponent in Jaguares. Hernandez will be available after missing Wednesday's game due to suspension. TV: Azteca America, Saturday 3 pm PT.

Edgar Castillo and Michael Orozco: Santos hosts San Luis as Castillo and Orozco should duel it out for 90 minutes. San Luis has a comfortable lead over Tigres in Group 3 while Santos needs a win to keep pace with Pachuca and to try and catch leaders Atlante. TV: Univision, Saturday 3 pm PT.

The rest: Jesus Padilla may see some time for Chivas as the club played a midweek game but more than likely he'll play alongside Carlos Borja with Tapatio as they host Irapuato on Sunday... Sammy Ochoa will try to add to his goal scoring totals at Leon on Sunday; Ochoa has four goals this season... Marco Antonio Vidal hasn't seen action in weeks; Indios hosts Cruz Azul... Sonny Guadarrama and Merida have the week off... Noel Castillo and Indios Chihuahua are at Tigres B on Sunday... Miguel Gonzalez and Chetumal have Lobos BUAP on Sunday.
