Gol de Cuauhtemoc

Santos knocked San Luis out of the Mexican league playoffs earlier tonight. The defending champs won the match 2-1 and took the series on a 5-2 aggregate.

Santos' hired gun Cuauhtemoc Blanco scored a goal in the game.

EDIT: I'd linked to another video earlier but I've replaced it with this one as this shows all the goals.

Luis - I think its interesting that Blanco is alot more demonstrative in his celebrations with Santos that he usually is with Chicago. Have you noticed this? If so, what do you attribute it to?

Yeah, I've noticed that he does have a bit more energy when celebrating these goals than usual. Not sure if it's just that he's happy to play in Mexico again, probably sooner than he thought he would be. That's my guess, just happy to be playing at home. I don't think that necessarily means that he's not happy in Chicago, more just that he's excited about having the chance to play in the Mexican league playoffs.

Luis do you think Vouso would ever come to MLS?

Actually, Vuoso was asked that question when Santos were here for SuperLiga and he said he respects the league and would be open to playing here. Financially however I think he's out of reach. He'd probably cost DP money but I don't think he's dynamic enough to merit a seven-figure salary here in MLS.
