The schedule for next year's InterLiga was announced, and finally after five editions we'll get to see Chivas play America. Unless you're in Houston or will travel to the game, though, most of us will have to watch it on television.
Top two teams in each group advance to the finals, and the winners will go to Copa Libertadores. Because of their participation in the CONCACAF Champions League, Santos, Atlante, Cruz Azul and Pumas are not eligible to participate in this tournament. San Luis already has a spot secured in Copa Libertadores.
First, the groups and then the schedule.

Did monkeys choose the gruop pairings , putting the the top two draws in the same gruop dosent make sense , since the gruop stage is composed of double headers.
My guess is that they just wanted to see Chivas-America in InterLiga. Maybe they think the tournament is losing its appeal or maybe they got tired of waiting for both teams to reach the finals to play against each other. But it is a bit surprising to see them play each other on the first day. And then we get the Clasico Tapatio too in the group stage. It is a bit strange I suppose.
