Close but not nearly complete

With all but one week left in the Apertura 2008 regular season, here's where we stand.

- Pumas and San Luis have qualified for the playoffs.
- Monterrey, Puebla, Jaguares and Necaxa are done for.
- Pachuca, Indios, Chivas, America and Atlas need the most help to get a spot.
- Atlante and Tecos must make up a game this week aside from their regular games on the weekend, so each side stands to move some

Here's what the playoff picture would look like right now (though this will surely change)

1 San Luis vs 8 Santos
2 Pumas vs 7 Cruz Azul
3 Morelia vs 6 Atlante
4 Toluca vs 5 Tigres

Pumas-Cruz Azul would be a very attractive matchup but San Luis-Santos might produce the best games, especially of Saturday's 2-2 draw was any indication.
