Got lots of stories for you ahead of tonight's Chivas USA-Real Salt Lake game:
Yours truly gets the party started with a story for The Press-Enterprise and another one for MLSnet.com. My PE story deals with the significance of the game and not so much tactics and overcoming the goal and all that, which is pretty much what the MLSnet.com story is all about.
Here's Grahame L. Jones of the LA Times and Phil Collin of the Daily Breeze with their respective stories. The former is mostly on Alecko Eskandarian and his thoughts on the matter while the latter has Sacha Kljestan's perspective.
And here are the visitors' stories, from James Edward of the Deseret News and another from Michael C. Lewis of the Salt Lake Tribune. RSL's Ian Joy told Edward that if RSL puts pressure on Chivas' attackers they won't be able to cope with the pressure. Chivas sure didn't cope well with it last week but I don't think RSL can or will play with the same sort of intensity tonight. Meanwhile, Will Johnson told Lewis that he expects Chivas to come out with a much different mentality, which is very true. They'll have a different lineup and a different mentality for certain.
