No news is good news

... for Pavel Pardo and Mexico anyway.

Club America's team doctor Alfonso Diaz said that Pardo should be fine and capable of playing against the U.S. on Feb. 11. His rationale? He never saw a report on Pardo.

Even though he did not examine Pardo himself, Diaz said he saw no sort of update on Pardo's condition, which apparently means that it isn't serious enough to warrant such a report. Diaz also said that Pardo should be able to heal from such an injury in a brief amount of time anyway.

Pardo took a knock to his thigh during Saturday's game against Morelia and left the match in the 59th minute, which led to speculation over his availability for the qualifying match against the U.S.
